Today’s Journey Tarot July 2020 Forecast

ARIES – Dreaming and doing are both needed to make anything happen. We have to make our dreams a reality by putting effort into them. No matter how long we wait, fate rarely knocks on our door. Make fate happen by giving it a little nudge.

TAURUS – Move forward, not back. If the past has not been as you would have liked or even if it was more than expected, it is not the direction you are supposed to be going. Starting anew is the human condition. We never stand still. Chose to move forward.

GEMINI – You have only just begun to explore all that you can achieve, no matter who or where you are in your life. There is always more and it can come in innumerable ways that you cannot even imagine. Step aside and let it happen.

CANCER – This seems like a confusing month. It might be better to let things settle down a little more before making any major decisions or changes. This is not a time to take things too seriously. It is a time to relax and enjoy what makes you feel happy and secure.

LEO – Be generous with your time and energy this month. It may be that you are more focused on others, rather than yourself. That isn’t really the case. You are just learning through what others are going through, rather than experiencing yourself. This can be quite a blessing.

VIRGO – There is a childlike spirit inside all of us that wants to come out. We suppress it because we think we’re supposed to. It is creative, daring and true to its own nature. It can also be exciting and a lot of fun. It knows no limitations.  Look for it. It is still there.

LIBRA – Someone else may be better positioned to tell you the truth about something than you are to see it, even though you’re looking right at it. We often seen what we want to see, even though we don’t realize it. Talk to someone you trust.

SCORPIO – Keep your thought grounded if possible. They seem to be flying all over the place and some of those places are unnecessarily destructive. The world around you may not be in a great place, but you can always rise above and beyond it.

SAGITTARIUS – Just because someone is nice to you, doesn’t mean you can trust them. Being nice can be a guise to a hidden agenda. Seek more information or let some more time pass before you put your trust in another. It will save a lot of heartache.

CAPRICORN – Things haven’t been exactly normal lately. It takes an effort to do the things we always took for granted before. Perhaps this is a way we can sort out what means something to us and what we do out of habit or obligation. What we do now is because the effort is worth it.

AQUARIUS – A new form of abundance comes your way. It means work and responsibility but also an opportunity to get out of a rut that may have been plaguing you for a while. The best part is it seems to come in stages, making it more easily introduced into your life.

PISCES – Don’t worry. You can handle whatever is coming your way. You have always been able to handle things and now is no different. You have the ability but not the confidence. It seems you have to prove it to yourself over and over and add more stress to stressful situations.

Today’s Journey Tarot Symbolism from “Today’s Journey Tarot, A Traveler’s Guide” Five of Water

The Five of Water shows a middle aged man looking through his old high school yearbook. If we have a huge success early in life it is sometimes hard to top it and we long for those better times. We reminisce and revisit over and over again and wish we could go back. This is of course living in the past. It may be that we can never have exactly what we did before but the infinite possibilities in the Universe could even give us more. Besides, the past may not have been as good as we remember it. The man’s shrine to the past shows where his focus is. He should learn from the mascot of his youth. Dolphins never swim backward.  Like the ice in his glass, he is frozen in time.
