My favorite card this month is the Nine of Fire. It shows the front entrance of a gated community. The gate is securely closed. There are times when we need protection and there are times when we simply hide away out of perceived danger or unfounded fear. I like this card because it suggests that there is a fine line between security and isolation, which is not a healthy alternative. Being overly cautious or motivated by a perceived threat can be as harmful as our imagined fear would be, if it were real.
