Today’s Journey Tarot Two of Water – Two of Cups

The Two of Cups from the Rider/Waite/Smith deck is a card of relationships or partnerships. It shows a man and woman pledging cups to one another under a red, winged lion’s head and a caduceus (a symbol of the healing power of relationships). While this card often represents a commitment between lovers, it can also represent a partnership of any type. This partnership is based on mutual ideals and principles. In other words, it is a commitment that enhances and encourages positive growth in each partner. The Two of Water from Today’s Journey Tarot depicts a man and woman wading in the ocean under a full moon. They hold hands and gaze into each other’s eyes as the moon illuminates their relationship.

GEMINI – Whatever choice you make is okay. Either way will take you where you want to go. It is important to go ahead and make the choice.

CANCER – Take more time to learn from your higher self through contemplation or meditation. You might be surprised at the knowledge you hold within.

LIBRA – Offer your assistance when you see someone in need. It seems you may have exactly what they need to feel better and it will make you feel good too.

SCORPIO You are very busy this month. Try to take some time out every once in a while to ground yourself and just relax. You will get more done that way!

SAGITTARIUS – Pay close attention to what is going on around you. There is a message you have been waiting for. The only way you’ll miss it is by closing yourself off.

CAPRICORN – You are more prepared than you think you are. Go ahead with your plans with confidence and control.

AQUARIUS – It is always scary when an old cycle ends and a new one begins. Know that you are on the right path and new beginnings can be exciting and fun!

PISCES – Look to a friend for emotional support during confusing times. This will pass and the worst part would be trying to do it alone.

Today’s Journey Tarot One of Water – Ace of Cups

The element associated with the suit of Cups is water. Water represents the emotions on all levels from the highest devotion to the basest fears. The Ace of Cups shows a hand emerging from a cloud. It holds an overflowing cup or chalice. There are symbols on the cup and a white dove holding a communion wafer seems to be hovering above or about to dive in. This card symbolizes universal love, peace, wisdom and the spiritual gifts of life. It is almost always a favorable card. The aces from the Tarot suggest the ultimate of the attributes of the suit – in this case the attribute of unconditional, divine love. In Today’s Journey Tarot, the One of Water has no symbols – only the sea in all of its many aspects from calm to chaotic. The range of emotions is expressed by the diverse conditions of the water and these emotions will be exhibited within the suit. The One has been expanded to contain the entire emotional spectrum.
