ARIES – Appreciation brings more abundance into our lives. In this first month of the New Year, try focusing on what you have instead of what you have not or not enough of. Build on the abundance instead of the lack. Always look for the silver lining.

TAURUS – This year it is time to break out of your shell and take some chances to get things moving toward your goals. Maybe take some classes or volunteer in a field that interests you. There are a thousand ways to get your foot in the door if you take the first step.

GEMINI – Maybe the holidays weren’t all you hoped they would be? Maybe you’ve been feeling disappointed or blue. The holidays aren’t to blame. It is up to you how long you feel disappointed and how disappointed you are. Move on and better things will come.

CANCER – One of the things we usually do in January is evaluate what is and isn’t working in our lives. We may not want to eliminate what isn’t working – yet, but it is a very good time to let go of what we don’t need or especially what may be harming us in some way.

LEO – Never quit while you are ahead. If you do, you’ll never know how much further you could have gone. Pay attention, be kind and most of all keep going. This could be a very good year where you’ll rise above your own expectations.

VIRGO – Can’t keep your resolution? Then make a new one as many times as it takes to accomplish what you want to do. We start over every morning when we get out of bed. Starting over is something we are experienced in and should not fear.

LIBRA – Focus on what you want to create in your life. That’s very hard to do when you are distracted by everyday activities. Perhaps this year, you could create a habit of spending just a few minutes a day thinking about nothing but what you desire to create. Every minute you do may be more than you are now.

SCORPIO – Start this year with the confidence that you can create whatever you want in your life. It may take some work and help from those who encourage you, but you can make the changes you desire.

SAGITTARIUS – Any January is a good time to make new or renewed goals. You are feeling the energy of the New Year pushing you forward. Ask for help if you need it. It will be there for you. Listen to your intuition to guide you. It will never fail you.

CAPRICORN – If you have felt the need to give up anything for the New Year, multi-tasking might be a good thing to let go of. It leaves very little time for rest and reflection and sometimes robs us of the quality of our actions. Trying to focus on many things at once can lead to neglect of what may be most important.

AQUARIUS – After all of the festivities of the Holiday Season, January can sometimes be a letdown. It’s tough to get back into a routine that might not be as much fun. There’s no reason not to celebrate, whatever time of year it is. Throw a party, attend an event or just get together with friends. Keep the good times flowing.

PISCES – Take some time in this New Year to reflect on where you are right now and what needs to be done to make you stop worrying and start acting to resolve your problems. They won’t all be resolved quickly, but little steps begin to make a difference.

PISCES – Don’t forget to take time out to pamper yourself a little. Especially this time of year there are so many demands on our time and energy. It is easy to forget self-care! Card for 2023: Father of Water. Compassion.

ARIES – The choice is really not that difficult. Go with what you are feeling and work out the details later. The main thing that is needed right now is the decision to move ahead.

TAURUS – Some things are harder to face than others, but not facing something ensures that it will become harder to face later. Once you get it over with, it’s over and healing can and will begin. It’s all just part of life.

GEMINI – Give from your heart and you will always receive whatever you need. That is a universal law. The energy from giving continually increases so it benefits the receiver, the giver and the world. A true gift is never wasted.

TAURUS – Being afraid of something that might happen or that we fear might happen is a wasteful way to use energy. It is okay to take precautions in order to remain safe but it is also a good idea to remind yourself that most of what we fear never happens.

GEMINI – Balance is the key this month and always for you. You can easily go too far one way or the other and exhaust yourself in the process. Think of your energy as a commodity that you spend at times and save up at times for another day.

CANCER – This fall should be a good time for your sign. Very prosperous energy surrounds you as well as calm and security. You seem to be on top of anything that happens very quickly and efficiently.

LEO – Relationships may need to be handled carefully this month. Pressure from several different places put additional strain on them. Keep the peace by carefully choosing what you say and when you say it. Misunderstandings can escalate.

VIRGO – Positive changes abound. Allow them to happen and know that you have the wisdom to accept them into your life without confrontation or resistance. You may not see the reward right away but you will feel that you are doing the right thing.                   

LIBRA – No matter what anyone else says, if it feels right for you and makes you happy and doesn’t harm anyone else, it is the right thing to do. As long as you accept responsibility for your actions, it should not be anyone else’s concern.

SCORPIO – What you don’t know can hurt you. Become informed about whatever issues arise this month and avoid confusion and errors. This seems to be of the mechanical nature. Time for a tune up?

SAGITTARIUS – Be careful not to push yourself past your limit. It could result in confusion and errors. Take time out when you need it and most of all admit it when you need it.

TAURUS – Overcome sadness or disappointment by thinking of others rather than yourself. Improve someone else’s life if there is nothing you can do right now to change your own and things will magically get better.

GEMINI – Your energy and creativity are very high right now. Use discernment to determine when a break is necessary, but for most of the month it will be about getting things caught up and in good shape. Others will admire your productivity.

CANCER – If you can’t move something out of your way, use it to your advantage. Everything isn’t always going to work out like you expect, but that doesn’t mean you have failed.
