The colors of his clothing symbolically enhance his need to see the opportunity being offered but he protectively crosses his arms over his chest and withdraws instead of opening up. We live in a world today where it is easier than ever to withdraw into our own world. The Four of Water from Today’s Journey Tarot shows a young man walking down a busy street. He is plugged in electronically and ignores the opportunities around him. When we close ourselves off from the world around us, we lose the chance to gain the wisdom of the universe.
