The Mother of Water shows a woman staring out of a cabin window at the rain. The Mother of Water prefers to be alone with her own emotions hidden deep within. She does not share them easily. She chooses to live in a cabin, preferring isolation. The water streaked window further emphasizes the emotional veil through which she sees the world. Her emotions, represented by the over sized cup, are impossible to ignore. Yet the cup covers her heart, to keep her deepest feelings hidden. Her comfortable, light blue sweater reflects her gentle soul.
