The Seven of Fire shows a celebrity walking the red carpet. The paparazzi are lined behind the ropes with microphones and the flashes of their cameras go off as he passes. Everything in life has benefits and times of adversity. If we give into the pressure we may lose what we have struggled to obtain. His smile does not tell the whole story. It is a continuous effort to maintain his position of notoriety. The lights blind him. He can’t even see where he’s going. All of his body language is a mask he wears to hide the pressure and display what everyone else wants to see. The red reflects the tremendous amount of energy it takes to keep up the façade. His black clothes and car represent the only insulation from the daily onslaught. Black is a color of protection.
