Today’s Journey Tarot Symbolism from “Today’s Journey Tarot, A Traveler’s Guide” Ten of Earth
The Ten of Earth shows a grandfather telling stories to his grandchildren who are engrossed in his tales. A family dinner is being prepared and other adults are busy in the background setting the table, bringing out food, or just relaxing. Both of the children are wearing green. There is a yellow merkaba shaped chandelier over the dining room table. The floor and furniture reflect purple. There is so much to learn from the legacy of those who have gone before, but we are impatient with the past. It seems irrelevant to our world today. A lot has changed but what our ancestors have to teach has nothing to do with technology, the latest fashion, or entertainment trends. Their experience in living and the basic valuable lessons they have learned do not change. The world continues to evolve but human beings deal with the same issues lifetime after lifetime. History repeats over and over. Only the names change. The grandfather tells stories of long ago. The meal being prepared is not the true bounty here. Other adults pay no attention and are distracted by the day’s activities. Green clothing reflects the growth occurring within the children.
