The Ten of Air shows a devastated neighborhood. We don’t know what caused the destruction but buildings are gone or damaged and the land is bare. Yellow butterflies have gathered on the stone foundation of a former building. Butterflies signify transformation. We can view the scene as one of destruction, or change our perspective to that of the butterfly by looking forward to a rebirth. It is not about what happens to us, it is about our perspective.
