The Two of Pentacle in the Rider/Waite/Smith deck is a juggler. He’s trying to keep more than one thing going at the same time. This could be projects, relationships, jobs, goals or any task that he feels must be accomplished. He has a worried look on his face as tries to keep everything aloft. It is a stressful situation. In the modern world we call this multi-tasking. We take pride in being able to do many things at once. The Two of Earth from Today’s Journey Tarot shows a worker in a busy diner. She is being pulled in many different directions – taking orders, making change, pouring coffee and at the same time giving attention to her daughter who sits at the counter doing her homework. Juggling requires excellent balance. One false move and it all falls down upon your head. This card asks, is it worth the stress?
