The Six of Wands is a card of victory and triumph, but it is also a card of leadership. The traditional card shows a man on horseback riding victorious with people cheering him on. He is a conqueror and they show him their admiration as they walk beside him. He wears a laurel wreath of victory and carries another one on his staff. The Six of Fire from Today’s Journey Tarot depicts a torch bearer confidently running through the streets. She too has been victorious in her field and the crowd cheering her on has gathered out of respect and admiration for what she has accomplished. She is a symbol of the best of human spirit and as such has a responsibility to use her triumph to inspire others.
