The Three of Wands from the Rider/Waite/Smith deck shows a man looking out to sea, waiting for his “ships to come in”. Three wands are planted firmly around him. The symbolism is enhanced by the variety of colors in this card. The sea is yellow; his robe is red, etc. This card usually signifies accomplishment. The man has reached one goal, and there are more to come. Today’s Journey Tarot’s Three of Fire is the successful lighting store that was opened in the Two of Fire. It is busy with customers and happy employees. It indicates, like the traditional card, that hard work has paid off and prosperity is being enjoyed. This is just the beginning of what can be accomplished.
